Soi Books: End Of Year TWO
Hey everyone,
We’ve reached the end of 2024, which marks two years since we launched Soi Books…and it’s been quite a ride.
Last year, I wrote a piece in The Bookseller called “Ten Lessons from Year One,” covering ideas like seeking advice, keeping cash flow steady, and building a brand. I also wrote a Substack post about our first year (you can read it here).
In this newsletter, I want to say Happy New Year!! and share some highlights from our second year, and thoughts on stepping into our third year of running a publishing business.









Second Year Highlights
Stickerbomb Re-Releases
Laurence King Publishing, who we’ve worked with for years, decided it was time to bring back the classic Stickerbomb 1 and 2. It’s been amazing watching these titles make a comeback, chatting with the artists again, and shipping books worldwide.

Our First Sports Title
Tifo: The Art of Football Fan Stickers hit shelves this earlier this year, and we had a blast taking it to art book fairs. It sparked amazing conversations with football lovers and we’re proud to share that an updated version is planned for 2026!
IPG Conference
Attending the IPG Conference this year gave us some massive learnings. A standout moment was hearing how Magic Cat leans on instinct, and how David Taylor from Ingram drove home the importance of truly understanding your distribution. Working with deadmau5
We’re excited to team up with DJ/producer deadmau5 on an art book celebrating his 25 years in the game. There’s so much we’d love to share, but we can’t spill it all just yet — just know the book is shaping up beautifully and will drop around mid-2025. Stay tuned for more updates!

We've created our very own Stickerbomb character and rolled out T-shirts to match. Keep an eye out for more Blam merch!

Looking Ahead to Year Three
Along with our deadmau5 release, we’re finalizing a limited-edition art book with Remi Rough, developing our first graphic novel (we can’t wait to spill the details), releasing a brand-new Skateboard Sticker book (you can pre-order here) and putting together a project around Hifi bars and the audiophile community. Another exciting change is partnering with ACC Art Books for distribution, which will help us reach new readers and give our titles the boost they deserve.
That’s It
We’re hoping 2025 brings a steadier pace - after all, we’ve been in full-on startup mode and could use a bit of stability to get our next concepts off the ground.
Still, with all the twists in politics and tech these days, who knows what’s around the corner? We’ll keep rolling with it and aim to put out great books, no matter what happens.
