Hi everyone,
Let’s talk about the number. Fifty.
We’re releasing just 50 copies of the new Remi Rough book. Each one hand painted. Each one completely unique. No reprints. No second run. That’s the whole thing.
But why 50?
Not because it sounds cool or collectible. Not because someone told us that’s how to build hype. It’s just what made sense. That’s what the work called for. That’s what we had the capacity to make properly, without rushing. Anything more and it would’ve lost its edge. It would’ve stopped feeling real.
Every cover took time. Spray paint. Tape. Edges cut by hand. Drying time. More layers. Signature. And then again. And again. No system. Just steady, focused work across a few intense studio days. There were no templates. Every one had to find its own shape.
Some are clean. Some are messy. Some feel like paintings. Others feel like they were ripped straight from a wall. They’ve got that energy. That weight.
These books aren’t merch. They’re not a marketing play. They’re objects. Something to keep. Something to pass on. And because of that, they had to stay small. Focused. Uncompromised.
We didn’t want to make 500. We wanted to make something we’d be proud to show you in ten years. That’s why it’s 50.
We’re not doing a big release for this. No product page. No campaign. Just a private link that we’ll send out to people on the list.
If you’re already on there, thank you. You’ll get first access when it goes live.
