Who scheduled WW3? Welcome to Swampland Resorts and Stickerbomb Creative is now open!
Anyone schedule WW3?
We didn’t and we are angry, sad and confused about it like many of you and we are still trying to figure out how we can help.
Here’s two links that I wanted to share.

In unrelated WW3 news…
Swamp Land Resorts
Mike Watt who was on the cover of Stickerbomb 3, has just launched a digital b-grade horror comic. It’s really good and worth spending as much time on it as you can - check it out → Swamp Land Resorts.

Stickerbomb Creative - Now Open!
We’ve recently re-opened the doors to our studio and I recently wrote a whole blog post about it. We’ll be working with many of you to make illustrations, videos, animations, gifs and more. That means we are hitting up brands, agencies and businesses who need good art in their lives.
Please check out the page here and our new showreel.
If you have any recommendations of clients who you believe could work with us, reply via this email to us or even forward this newsletter onto them and feel free to give em a nudge and a wink and we can see what we can all cook up together.
State Of The World (Part One)
Over the last couple weeks, I’ve asked a few artists here and there how things are where they live. There was a vibe of optimism with a glimmer of hope. That might have changed recently but below is a condensed version of some of the conversations I’ve been having with more to come over the new few weeks.
Diego Medina (Porto Alegre, Brazil)
Our president is a complete psycho and he’s been destroying every single aspect in Brazil - education system, health system, culture, eco system, security, a lot of very basic things for the extremely poor people…it is really sad to see a lot of people supporting his utter psycho nonsense. But I bet things will change for good in our next presidential elections later in 2022.
Ezra Dickinson (Seattle, USA)
Seattle is slowly emerging from this pandemic…hopefully? Still lots of masks and little by little a face here and there. The art scene is trying to find a beginning again, shows are starting to bubble up. I haven’t personally attended anything just yet but I do see folks posts about this and that.
Ioke (Barcelona, Spain)
Last night I went for a walk and it was strange how it made me remember 2019, like nothing ever happened, crazy. People hanging out on the streets having drinks, dancing and shouting. Maybe it is the euphoria as they are relieved to have some restrictions of night entertainment lifted this weekend. Expos and openings are coming back also. Good sensation in the air but in a way I will miss the empty city.
Peap Tarr and Lisa Mam (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)
Phnom Penh and Cambodia has had a few ups and downs since Covid kicked in. There was only one official major lockdown in 2020 during March which was enforced by the military…we (now) always wear masks and are constantly spraying alcohol on our hands and surfaces when outside but despite it all, we are maintaining and creating and just keeping it moving.
Kyle Hughes-Odgers (Perth, Australia)
Western Australia is about to open up its borders to the rest of Australia and the world so it's a big turning point.
We’ll be catching up with some more artists soon and please do let us know in the comments below how things are wherever you are.
Thanks as ever for having a read and we will be back soon. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
